Work produced for AVBOB

AVBOB

Upcycle Creative has produced upcycled corporate products for AVBOB from diverted billboard PVC and banner material, including messenger bags, laptop bags and early-childhood-development mattress covers. The work was made through our community production network and delivered with recorded material and emissions figures AVBOB can report against.

The work

Across an ongoing body of work through 2025 and 2026, we have converted AVBOB’s redundant billboard vinyl and banner material into finished, usable products rather than sending it to landfill. Production has covered three main items:

Each item is made by trained makers in our community production network, so the same material that would have been waste becomes both a usable product and paid local work.

Recorded impact

Figures for the reporting period July 2025 to June 2026, recorded and compiled internally from our production ledger.

437 kgmaterial diverted from landfill

1,252 kgCO2-equivalent avoided

510 items produced

Emissions calculated using adopted factors of 2.45 kg CO2-eq/kg for PVC and 6.4 kg CO2-eq/kg for polyester banner. See our impact page for how these figures are recorded and compiled.

AVBOB featured the work in their own film

AVBOB produced a short film about the project and named Upcycle Creative in it. You can watch it below.
