Scrap Fabric Bangle

Step 1: Choose Your Fabric Scraps

Gather fabric scraps that complement each other in color and pattern. Cotton or lightweight fabric works best, and the more variety you have, the more colorful your bangle will look!

Step 2: Cut Fabric Strips

Using scissors, cut your fabric into thin strips about 1-1.5 cm wide and 10-15 cm long. You’ll need enough strips to cover the bangle and create tassels.

Step 3: Wrap the Bangle

Take one strip of fabric and tie it tightly around the bangle. Continue wrapping the fabric around the entire bangle, overlapping each strip to cover the base completely. Tie a knot at the end and trim any excess fabric.

Step 4: Make the Tassels

Now, create tassels using the leftover fabric strips. To do this, fold a strip in half and tie the top together with another strip, leaving the ends loose. You can also use needle and thread to make the tassels more secure if needed.

Step 5: Attach the Tassels

Once you’ve made several tassels, tie them around the bangle at intervals to create a decorative, dangly effect. You can add as many tassels as you like depending on how full you want the bangle to look.

Step 6: Add Charms (Optional)

For extra flair, attach small charms or beads to the tassels using jump rings. This will add a bit of sparkle and movement to your design, making your bangle even more eye-catching.

Step 7: Flaunt Your Bangle

Your upcycled tassel charm bangle is ready to wear! Pair it with casual or boho outfits, or stack it with other bracelets for a layered look.
