After making the notebooks last week, I thought it would be a nice follow up to show you how to make paper. This helps to take care of all the scrap bits of paper that were left over from our notebook project. This is another fun Upcycle project to do, however as you will need to use a few tools in to be able to make the frame this project will require adult assistance.
It does seem like a lot of work but once you get the tools sorted out then making paper regularly would be easy as pie.

Step by step instructions showing how to make your own upcycled book LED lampshade by recycling an old book.
Books can’t be recycled with other paper due to the glue used in binding. Instead, consider reusing, donating, or reselling them as books are more valuable in their original form. Many people have old books lying around—outdated textbooks or ones no longer needed after college. Rather than discarding them, why not turn them into something creative?
If your books have little resale value, upcycling is a great option! In this step-by-step guide, we’ll show you how to transform an old book into a unique lampshade. You can add an energy-efficient light source or build your own LED circuit.
Note: This project requires a jigsaw and soldering iron. If you’re not familiar with these tools, make sure you have someone who can help or use caution if you’re doing it yourself.
