Sheeting metal plant holder

Step 1: Cut the Metal Sheeting

Start by measuring the size of the pot or container that will sit inside the plant holder. Use metal snips to cut the corrugated metal sheeting to the desired height and width. Wear gloves to protect your hands from sharp edges.

Step 2: Shape the Metal

Step 3: Secure the Edges

To hold the plant holder’s shape, use strong adhesive or metal fasteners like rivets or screws to secure the overlapping edges. If using glue, ensure it’s designed for metal and allow ample drying time.

Step 4: Sand the Edges (Optional)

If any sharp edges are left after cutting and shaping, gently sand them down to make your plant holder safe to handle. This step is optional but recommended, especially if the plant holder will be placed in a high-traffic area.

Step 5: Add Your Plant

Place your chosen pot or container inside the metal holder. You can use any type of plant – from succulents to flowers – to complement the rustic look of the corrugated metal.
